Welcome
My name is Erica Dean
Feeling stuck by past events or struggling with current transitions? Maybe you're trying to understand yourself better, seeking clarity on a challenging relationship, or navigating a tough life change. No matter why you’ve decided to start therapy, you’re in the right place.
Erica compassionately supports birthing individuals and families navigating the transformative journey of the perinatal period, including pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Erica uses the evidence-based approach of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address trauma while facilitating healing and resilience.
Erica works with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, helping them navigate the emotional distress and dysregulation that often follow. She supports clients in addressing related issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, attachment difficulties, and more.
Therapeutic Philosophy
I'm Erica, an EMDR therapist and a PMH-C with experience providing therapy since 2019. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are struggling with ineffective patterns that affect their quality of life. Utilizing a collaborative, evidence-based approach, I honor clients' innate knowledge of their needs. Embracing an LGBTQIA+ affirmative, trauma-informed perspective, I foster a supportive environment that highlights each individual’s strengths.

In therapy, I help clients discover effective strategies to manage distressing emotions, cope with stressors, gain insights, and build resilience. Together, we explore your history, identify patterns you'd like to change, and work toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

I am deeply committed to helping clients break through barriers and find a path to healing and personal growth. With empathy, curiosity, and a non-judgmental approach, I support individuals every step of the way. This personalized approach reflects my dedication to providing meaningful and transformative therapeutic experiences.
